Title pretty much says it all... Just want to confirm before I pick this rear sway bar up. From what I can tell, the 05 and 06 Acura's are essentially the same. Came across an 06 RSX Type-S rear sway bar that ought to fit my "bone stock" 05 EX Sedan. I will upgrade to Hotchkis End Links unless someone points me in another direction.

what about an 05 vp coupe? i read that i would have to get some kind of adapter to make it fit

yes I am also I have a 04 vp what do you have to do to make the swaybar fit on a vp?

 

if Acura used the same sized rear sway from there previous gens, then yes it will fit directly. I am using an 03 type-s rear sway on my 03 ex coupe. 01-05 non-ex models will need end links/bushings to put in a rear sway from my understanding (can someone confirm?).

 

To fit a rear swaybar on a VP/DX (01 LX too) you will need to either buy the progress kit, which is around $125-150 I forget.
Or you can buy some rear trailing arms from an ex/02+LX (what I did)
I THINK the progress kit comes with endlinks too, in case you were wondering.

On a side note, I'll be purchasing the 21mm rsx-s rear sway for my 01 ex.

I know I am only going to need bushings.

HOWEVER, can the existing EX bushings be drilled (ghetto, I know) to compensate for the 21mm bar?

trying to save a buck.

Also, I checked energy's website and apparently they don't sell the 21mm bushings for the 05-06 rsx-s.

Can I use ANY 21mm sway bushings from energy susp?

 

Ok so if I got trailing arms from the stealership all I would need is the swaybar bushings and the endlinks?

 

All Canadian models from 2002 to 2005 had rear sway bars.
