Asuming you have an ITR, of course you can use stock parts on the car they were meant to go on.

But from the sound of it, I'm guessing you didn't give us all the info necessary to give you the proper answere though...

I'm not sure if its a ctr pulley or not i'm pretty sure if it is the mechanic wouldnt say that he would recomend for me to change it Oh and my motor is a b18c5 using a 97 gsr harness to a p28 chip when i went and got it check to see what was causing the surging or fluctuating they say it was wire wrong. they correct the wiring but it was still throwing the code 14 so the cheapest way first was to replace the IACV and see if that fix the problem if not then my ecu might be burnt. My question is can i just use any b series IACV and bolt it on? any help would be appreciated

You need to give more information about what car this is in etc.. i was under the impression this was in an ITR.. now it sounds like a swap? Im not 100% sure if all B series IACV's are interchangeable.

I have the same setup in my car except mines a JDM ITR motor. With a 97 Integra engine harness, your wiring should have been perfect. I only added 1 wire from the shock tower to the ECU for Vtec solenoid. I guess your USDM ITR motor swap would also need the VTEC pressure switch wire (unless it was bypassed inside the ECU). Now that I think about it, I did have rearrange a couple plugs on the harness for the ITR manifold & Civic Evap-Solinoid...

For the IACV: Go to AcuraOEMParts.com and look up the part number for the IACV on a 97 ITR. You will find it in the "intake maifold" section or the "throttle body" section within the "engine" sub category. Then look up the IACV part number on other models/trim-levels you want to compare to see if they match. If I remember, the ITR has the same IACV as the B16 and later LS B18B but NOT the B18C1 GSR. I looked this up a couple years ago because my ITR swap has a slow IACV that's sorta gotten better with time (and some simple-green cleaning)...

BTW: The best place to look up Honda part numbers is SLHondaParts.com or HondaPartsNow.com. The 94-97 Del Sol VTEC & 99-00 Civic Si have the B16...
