Question on springs and struts
A friend of mine has a set of lowering springs and struts he's gonna sell. He got them from someone but he doesn't know the year for the civic. He said 92-00 but not sure of the year. I have a 94 Civic. Is there anyway I can tell between the years on the springs and struts? They are new and never been used, he's had them for a few years but never used them because his car is already lowered.
The struts will work, The only difference is the 92-95 rear LCA's are thicker than the 96-00. And for the front the only difference is the 92-95 Brake line attaches to the strut.
88-00 springs are the same, 92-00 front shocks are the same, the rears on the 96-00 are thinner they will on 5th gens by trimming the LCA bushing
