Default Question 91 CRX si with obd1 gsr swap exhaust headers ques

Sup guys

swapped a obd1 gsr motor into a 91 crx. going to be putting a catback skunk2 exhaust system with an OBX high flow cat. wanted to know if i can use an obd2 header because it has the o2 sensor hole. also with the stock obd1 header it has a space between the cat and header about 8-10in space. with the obb2 the header it would bolt right up. is that bad when shifting?

thanks in advance guys

what i did was just get my o2 sensor welded in right before the end of the header... seems to be ok

yeah i was thinkin about doing that. what did you put between the space gap? my buddy said to buy a steel flex pipe. he said it good when hard shifting and give the exhaust movement and less vibration

the obd2 manifold will work, if you have the stock style spring loaded bolts and donut flange it will provide enough movement, depending on what mounts you use there will be little movement anyways...

the hasport mounts will make it very stiff, the itr header is a better oem design so i would go with that and use the oem spring loaded bolts and donut flange, you will be fine.
