hey i was planning on a wheel myself. is the reason you dont plug it directly for the horn to work is because itll trigger the airbag light? because i wouldnt mind that for a lil bit. or will it cause other problems?

Your car has one single wire for the horn (black one) which is usually attached to the ground end stick on stock Honda wheels. When you plug that wire to the center piece of a stock oem wheel (airbag peice) it'll have a ground end sticking out which it'll be for the horn. The horn won't work until you press down on the center wheel which makes contact to the ground from the airbag to the ground of the whole wheel (which is touching the car's ground). If you were to spice the horn wire and touch it with a ground on the car's frame the horn will stay on constantly. What you can do is mount a switch/button to your wheel if you can in the middle or underneath the wheel. One end the horn wire will attach and the other then will be a wire attached to the ground on the frame of the car.
