i keep reading up on different engine that i should put in my eg. idk what one i want. i want simple but powerful. i can always just hook up the b16 that i have in it. but i kinda want a type r. but then again a simple b18 might be nice. what do you guys think

get the fast 1.....lol if you already have a b16 in it keep it put a turbo on it and live life half way happy

 

the biggest question is how much you wana spend. type rs arent cheap, the cheapest way to go is build the b16

if you already got the b16 leave it there, if not put you can always go ls-vtec or go ls and boost it or squeez on it.

 

Yea type r motor ain't cheap,you should see whats your budget and do some research

 

I'd stay with what you have. build it or boost it. it seems to me the b16 does the best for boost. maybe not the longest lasting boosted but get higher numbers. or if you wanna stay n/a and change things, get a b20, then put your head and other parts on it with ab ls vtec kit. it'll put the torque your missing under your hood. you'll miss the higher redline tho.

i would stay with the B
unless you know what your doing, trying to get a CTR swap is expensive and its a pain in the *** to do

but i must say having a CTR engine is mad nice

honlestly id keep the b16, possibly sell the b16 block and get a ls and go ls vtec.

 

but a cheap b20 block and go crvtec!i have a ls in mine and love it but since you already have a b16 dont go with ls or gsr or even type r.

 

i want vtec. i want all engine no turbo....

 

Either get a GS-R Block or a B20 Block and do some minor work to them. Pistons/Rods/Rebuild/Cams.. Faster than a type R, less moola!

GSR's are pretty nice. B20-VTEC's are mad sick. Either one would be gangstah.
