Does anyone know what lip kit this is? It looks like a Mugen lip, but it flares out at the sides like the Type-R lip does.



Whatever it is, it's damn sexy and I want it, ha ha.

 

Its a mugen replica, had this on my wife's car till the parking garage guys tore it off driving her car up the ramp.

 

So it's a Mugen replica...? not Mugen style? I just wanna know how I would find one that flares out on the edges like that.

the ones that are made for 99-00 civic flares out like that i believe but the ones on ebay for 01-03 doesnt i'll find pic in a min.
the spoon ones fit under the chin of the bumper

no cause i have a 99-00 lip on my car and it doesn't flare out

 

The one i had did flare, got it from a car show. They only make one style with the 2 air vents like that.

 

guess it has to be the real mugen ones to flare out im not sure lol

 

It looks exactly like the ones DnastyRacer22 posted for the 99-00 Civic...

Maybe they just forced it to fit? The only other close thing I've found was the VIS spoon style lip, but that one flattens out in the middle.

No fair, ha ha, I like the Mugen lip best (aside from whatever the heck this one is), but I never liked how it comes down at the sides. I prefer this look much better where it just sticks farther out at the sides instead of down like the Mugen lip.

 

Just a quick question looks like you have an 04 civc did you have to mod any thing on the lip to make it fit or was it just a bolt on.

 

you have to stretch the lip to fit make sure it poly urethane lip

 

correction it is a mugen lip the lip for a eg also know to fit the 01-03 civic

That one looks more chunky and curvy then the one I posted.

 

I guess the closest thing to it would be those 99-00 civic lips... but its still not exactly the same if you pay close enough attention.

Must be some rare lip as stated before, or another style of 99-00 lip that we don't know about.

 

As in heat it up and bend it or just kind of push it into place and then bolt it in?

 

just stretch it have you on side and your friend or someone on the other side and bolt it in

 

im sure its not a spoon lip i bet its a real mugen lip for 99-00 civics
