I'm always "that guy" and i'll apologize for it now...but i'm not a fan of building B20 engines since the stock sleeves are known to be the weakest of all B series sleeves. You would have been better off running an LS or GSR bottom end. As for the turbo setup, it seems ok. If the XS Power turbo is holding together, consider yourself lucky. I hope that trend contines. Also, for having a built engine, you're not exactly pushing it very hard. I'm basing that on your rather small turbo choice and the 450cc injectors. With the power you're limited to, you could have stuck with a stock bottom end and been just fine.

Having said all that, i'm sure it's a fun car. It's a lot more fun to drive than my car currently...which is sitting in my buddy's shop and has been for a good while. Don't take what i said previously as a slam, just more or less constructive criticism...you have to expect to take some heat here

i ran a 75 shot and it was completly pointless the car hardly budged its really hard to notice anything around 75 shot. NOS is good for 1 time use or only at track use. WHY you might ask because its expensive, think about it nitrous is 5 dollars per pound so to fill a 10 pound is 50 bucks and it does not last more then 5-6 pass's at the 1/4 track. SO OVER ALL for daily driving nitrous is very pointless, waste of money, and weak unless you do a huge shot. and the 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 add up and u notice you could of bought a turbo kit. my advice on nitrous being that i have been there, and its a NO. but good luck on whatever you decide i hope you the best

no hard feelings but you really believe what every kid on forum says about weak sleeves on a b20 then go ahead and believe it. but just ask your self if b20 was as weak as you think it is, then why did honda create the b21 motor? they pushed it with that bore and stopped at the b21. so my criticism to you is go and build motors and run them (by that i mean OWN a b20 ) then when the sleeves melt take a picture and send it to me. infact since you wanna talk about b20 sleeves melting why dont you show me some pics, there should be plenty right? go and dig up as many as you can and come rub it in my face.

edit - and also just wanted to add in, im wondering if you even knew a b21 existed? becuase you said b20 has the weakest sleeves of all B series, hmmmm that sounds a bit weird, the same b series block but bored to 2.1 has stronger sleeve then a 2.0 :]

I think the B21 came in the Prelude, don't know exactly what model year but I'm fairly certain it was late 80's into the early 90's. It is a different casting than the B20 we are familiar with in the CRV and is, for the most part, worthless. This is off the top of my head so feel free to correct me.

The motor is still just a bare block im waiting to pick up my head today the machine shop as assembling it for me because i dont have the proper spring compressor + they are doing the valve job because i dont have the special gridning tools (laping the valves didnt work )

but I will be aiming roughly 320 whp at 14 psi thats what my goal is but ofcourse that all depends on the tuner its hard to predict now days your hp before your car hits the dyno but i definetly will be sure to let everyone know the #'s when its all done

also the b21 is just a B series block same as all other other b20's just bore'd out.

The b21 came in early preludes, i know this cuz im a motor junky most people that even know that theres actaully a DOHC D series and im not talking about the engine code of a DOHC ZC.

anyways just to add ontop of my b20 comments earlier, if the B20 was such a "fail' and "weak sleeves" then why did honda make mass production of those motors?
i hope you know it goes from b20b/b20a all the way thru a9

There is already an Integra Picture thread. That page should serve as your intro as well. We try to keep the rest of the Integra forum to a strictly technical forum...or such is the hope
