Default Turbo Vic's Recovered theft 98 gsr sedan resurrection. lsvtec inside

ok. so i brought this 98 gsr sedan shell of craigslist for $800. truthfully, i am very happy with it, but it did look alot better in the pictures. the kid i brought it from had the car for maybe about 800 miles. he brought it, blew the motor, put another motor in it and within 3 weeks i got stolen and stripped. the title was branded prior theft prior to this so this wasent the first time this integra got stolen.

i was going to throw a p8r b20 in it, buy came accross a great deal on a obd1 b18b on craigslist for $300, but it had an autotranny on it.

the next nite i found a bare b16a head on craigslist for $100. so decided to go lsvtec.

as of right now there is no motor in the car, i been fixing the little things first. i nistalled my hids, ran the system wires and started my alarm install. while i have the seats and carpet out ill take them to get steam cleaned.

so here it is

so i pulled out the seats and carpet to run my system wires, pre wire my alarm and start cleanig the car. i found some mold under the drivers seat

heres the auto b18b

i pulled the auto tranny off today.

i ordered one of the cheap ebay clutches. i had good luck with them before, and dont plan on beating this car too much. i basically got the 4dr because ill be having my first child in june.

so the b16a head i got was totally disassembled. i originally though i was buying a bare head, but it looks like the kid actually had every thing except the cams, distributor and vtec solenoid

Nice going LS Vtec. it good how your setting everything up and dont have to deal with it when you have everything inside. this is how i do my work on my cars too so keep up the good work. its a good deal you got the car and B16 head for.

had a long day at the junkyard today. i got a new ignition with key, the plastic cover, and the trunk silinoid for $20. then i went to another junkyard and got 1 flywheel bolt and all the pressure plate bolts of a da integra

my ebay clutch kit came in. so now i got all the bolts i needed so i threw it on the block

i picked up a gsr tranny tonite for $200. the bottom rear bolt hole had a bolt broken into it and the top rear hole was broken off. shouldn't be too hard to fix

so i came across a deal for some of these type s rims.

i figured they would be nice and something different on a db. especially after i send a week and polish them up

so i made a thread asking about redrilling stock db hubs for a 5.114 bolt pattern and got flamed by not only mods, but so super tyte jdm people. they dont understand why i woyldent want to putt off my brand new suspension to throw away 1000 on used type r suspension. so if i have time this week i am going to grab a spare hub from the junkyard and see how well it taps out. there was 2 accord ex wagons when i went yesterday that had 11" brakes, so ill snag some calipers and the brackets. abd ill atlease test fit one side to see how everythnig works out. my only concern was about where the studs are pressed into the hub. i gotta make sure they are tight. i was thinking maybe lubing (or unlubing) the groved part of the stud with some jbweld to seize in inplace once its pressed into the hub. on maybe pressing it in and throwing tac welds on the back. if anyone has tried anything like this throw me some ideas

^^ Dogginator gave you a good explanation on why redrilling the hubs wouldn't work. also, you'll need to change the door locks to fit the new key that you got with the ignition. you can just take the locks out of the doors and have a locksmith change them.

I wouldnt put 17" OEM wheels on an 4dr integra it won't look right. jsut invest in a nice set of 15 or 16" wheels. you'll be better off.
nice pick up at the junkyard

i couuld of got the door cylenders for free, however i am going to put rear dors handles on the front and eliminate the key holes, along with the trunk one. so the only key i will need is the ignition. the arlarm/power door lock run off a back up battery so i am not worried about that. in the case all other power does die i have a way of supplying a 12v power source without getting under the hood. i just can give away all my alarm secrates
