Since my oem header broke and i really dont wanna spend 200 or more on the oem header thats combined with a cat i was thinking about buying one of those cheap ebay headers. Right now my header is cracked and is setting off my o2 sensor. My question is when i buy this header is there gonna be enough from for a cat or is this thing gonna be able to just connect to the pipe. If so has anyone used one of those oem high flow cats off of ebay. Not trying to spend 2 much money because im doign a k swap in about a couple months that and since the d series really doesnt make hp on bolt ons.

This will be with with the ebay header and the high flow cat attach to the back exhaust pipe that it wont it? I guess im gonna have to cut the back exhaust and weild it alittle longer? Anyone know what the stock exhaust diameter is?

 

I dont know what you are doing but here is what I did when my header cracked.

I got the generic header off of eBay. I went to a shady muffler shop and had him weld on a magnaflow high flow cat.

You can bolt up the header and down pipe to your exhaust pipe, its plug and play but you will NOT have a cat.

Will it throw a code if you get rid of the cat? Noticed while replacing that O2 sensor lastnight that my manifold is cracked.
