Yes keep ALL your mounts and brackets. Everything from the B16 will need to change over. Harness, linkage, axles, mounts, mount brackets, EVERY THING

did the gsr swap come out of another 96-00 civic? if not, you need to keep everything off the b16.

that's it. keep your wire harness, mount posts/brackets, axles if they dont come with it...etc. basically all what Ls_dx said.

Sorry to just jump in..... but will the si harness work with the gsr manifold?? Or will some changes need to be made in order for it to work??

I am using a gsr OBD1 P72 ecu with a obd2 to obd1 converter harness. My question is if I do get an 00 si harness will I need to modify it in order for it to work with the gsr manifold (since the the gsr and b16 have different manifolds), or will it be a simple plug and play??

i think it would be plug and play unless the b16 has less sensors then the gsr then you'll need to wire them but im not to sure either...most likely it is plug and play

Why swap B18c1 for a B16A just use gsr or ls crank. yes there are head differences but the block is essentialy identical

99 civic Si came with a b16a not a b16b. the short block is different.
