alright, i bought this stolen recovered 96 gsr shell for stuuuupid cheap but it needs some work. the idiots that stold the car cut the wiring harness plug off, now i need to know where i can find the color sequence or what other plugs i can use so i can hook it up. i bought a 94 civic ex plug with alot of wiring but colors dont seem to match real good. can anyone help.
what can i do.

 

find out where the other end is and match them up that way or grab urself a wireing diagram and start tracing the color of the wires 1 by 1

what he means is, start removing the wire loom from the harness to see where your cut off wires are going.

 

Some of those wires that've been cut off are connected to the brake reservoir, driver headlight/parking light and turn, Cruise control, Power steering components, etc. If the wires are just cut off by the oval grommet, look under the driver side dashboard next to the fuse box and hopefully you'll find the cut wires or connector. Good luck!

 

in all honesty the easiest and cheapest thing to do is find the same year/make/model car as yours in a salvage yard and cut the plugs off. then start matching the wires together and SOLDERING them with heat shrink.....also, now might be the time to start thinking about a wire tuck if you are ever gonna do one.....or buy another harness......If you can read a wiring diagram it wont be too bad, did the thieves hack the harness anywhere else?

 

no its mostly there and the plugs where the horn and radiator are.
