Bridgestone RE01-R
I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but Tire Rack is running a special on the Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R. My guy there (Cooper - 743) sold me a set of 225/45-17 for $446.The tire is normally almost $200 each and is now $104.

Just thought I would pass this by you guys.

No prob. Tire Rack was pretty cool. Good experience buying from him.
They are running out of some sizes already, so if anyone is interested, you might want to give him a call soon.

I bought a set of 195/50/15s on Monday.
$77 a tire, I just couldn't pass up that deal.
Very fast shipping too, they arrived Wednesday. Tire Rack
Comparing them side by side with a mounted Falken Ziex 205/50/15, the Bridgestones are approximately one whole inch wider yet they're 195s.

Also a heads up, they have a $50 mail in rebate with the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs. I just bought a set of 205/50-16's for what will be $390 after rebate.
The Direzza is also rated slightly higher than the RE-01R. Go go go!

^ Good deal.
I put my Stones to the test yesterday at willow springs. "Very sticky for a street tire!" Compliments of my instructor who races in ITA and has done several Honda Challenge events who knows R compounds. I'm very happy with the Stones. My decison to go with 195s was the right choice, they fit perfect on a 15x6 rim.
