well the motor on my sisters em1 has 130k miles and has been supecharged for about 60k miles. the motor is completely stock . i let the ca run down to almost no oil earlier this week by accident . i just did an oil change about 2 months ago and i was caught off guard that it was empty. i dont see any oil leaking . im guessing its just burning oil .today i noticed that the reserve tank for coolant looked really dark . i emptied out the bottle and it looked almost black . that wasnt like that before . im thinking about flushing the coolant system this weekend . by the way ive also been using royal purple 5w-30 for years now . maybe its time to get off synthetic until i rebuild the motor .im open to ideas im gona get a compression test when i get time next week. suggestions are welcomed to help me trouble shoot. oh yes the car at idle seems kinda rough the car shakes more then it did just last week .

 

if your coolant bottle is full it sounds like your oil is mixing with the antifreeze ( HEAD GASKET OR HEAD)

 

well today on my way to work the car just died .the check engine light was flashing for about 2 minutes and then the engine shut off. no noise or anything would not turn back on .the car cranks and has power but nothing . im guessing either spark or fuel problems. well see
