Default filling busted mounts with urethane

so i wanted to get everyones opinion on filling my semi busted motor mounts with some urethane from lowes/home depot. also what kind should i get. from my understanding there are few different types. has anyone ever done this before?

yes, it'll work. homedepot, lowes, autozone, advance, kragens, pep boys. anyone of those place's well have it. only thing different about the auto part store one is that you use the 3M window weld polyurethane(which is supper hard). the home depot/lowes, just buy their polyurethane caulking. i have heard people use silcone caulking and they say it works fine too.

well which is better the 3M product or the other polyurethane? how long will it take to dry

I used the other poly fill rated at 65A hardness. To be honest, I think it took 2-3 days for the front/rear tranny mounts to dry and up to a full week for the two side mounts. The mounts were in my basement at room temp for this time too.

Apply low heat but i would just let them dry on thier own. Either that or get inserts.

force dry them in the oven at like 130 degrees... they will harden better also

this, but then your house well smell really bad. someone else acutally made a little oven out of there charcoal grill and baked them that way.
