Post i have a type r. its in a civic.

I have a 98 coupe.

96 Jdm Type R.
Its only been about two months now, and I am in love with it.
Right now i'm just running it stock, because i was trying to get my car looking right as well. So the other day i spent some money on suspension and stuff. But i have a question?

Do you guys burn oil? because i deff. DO NOT! like no burning what so ever.. its great. and the cross over into vtec is ridiculous.

I'm puttin on a new header, high flow cat, exhaust and intake in a couple weeks, and i cannot wait for the after affects.

I know you guys are all about ITR's and **** but don't hate cuz i'm in a coupe, i'm pullin on ITR's all day..

Wow, sounds like your motor is pretty jacked not burning oil. I would get that checked out ASAP.

You could have a faulty VTEC oil purge solenoid (VOPS)... the VOPS makes sure that vtec engages and doesn't overfill the VTEC cam lock switch (VCLS). What happens is this purged oil gets burnt to prevent the oil pressure from "backwashing" into your vtec solenoid and making you constantly replace the VTEC solenoid.

"..Pullin' on ITRs all day."

Does this statement seem a bit hyped up?

Good read though.

We're all about ITR's because it's an ITR forum.
**** never ceases to amaze me.

PS - Make sure your VTEC Crossover Fluid (VCF) is topped off at all times or your crossover won't be nearly as ridiculous as this post was.

So by those words you fit a Civic over a Integra??
I'd also bet that 'illeagal' was part of getting the parts...
