MFactory Pro 1st and 2nd Straight Cut
i have no experience with these gears so im no help to your question...... but what are you doing about 3rd 4th and the final drive?
4th gear (for me anyways) was always the problem gear. and ive broken a couple of final drives. never broken a first, and only one second gear.

We've just recently installed the 1st, 2nd and Final Drive along with the previously installed 3rd and 4th Mfactory Pro gear set in our LS/Vtec Turbo EG B16 tranny (S4C)
Will be taking out this setup on Friday night -
Im interested to see how the revised ratios's are going to change the cars' characteristics
We using the 4.05 FD - Think i might have to go more aggresive on the Launch control/anti lag

Jake (Indub) has been hammering on the gears for the past 3-4 months with around 30+ passes, some of them 9.5x's @ 160+, as well as hot-lapping sessions on Locash's Dynapack (and holds the power record for @ 950whp/600lbft) and the gears are still holding up fine: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...2255444&page=7
From the last time we checked the tranny, the gear teeth were still as good as new. There is some slight wear on the dog-teeth, but this can be expected considering Jake is full throttle shifting at 10k rpm with 950whp. A synchronous engagement gear set was just not designed to do this! lol
Roll on the 26's and low 9's

So with the 4.05 fd and the gear set in a 4 speed tranny how does that compare to a 5 speed gsr tranny with stock gears and a 4.40 fd gear ratio wise? Just wondering how tall the gears are with the 4.05 fd.
They are full synchronous engagement, so yes, they can be used on the road no problems. Will be a bit noisier though due to the straight cuts.
