Anyone out there successfully rebuilt your stock CRX Si brake calipers? It seems crazy to spend so much for rebuilt calipers when the rebuild kits are cheap. The only problem I see is getting the dust boots properly set in the groove in the caliper bore. ANy ideas?

 

I rebuilt my ex calipers for the same reason, the parts were cheap. It was a PITA! I ended up ripping one of the seals trying to get it seated. If this is your DD and you need to have together the same day, id advise you just buy rebuilt calipers and swap them.

I rebuilt both front and rears of mine, wasnt the easyest thing ive ever done, but it was far from the hardest. Sit down on the couch with some tools and youll get it done eventualy.
