Haven't gotten to look in the rear and search yielded little info. Hoping I can use the front mounts to build the rear struts while off the vehicle. This will save downtime and make it a swap-out-swap-in affair.

 

i really have no clue what part of the shock youre asking about.

the only thing interchangeable is the top hat mount. but theyre not the same either, just slightly different. the rears have an oval oring.

the shocks are completely different front and rear.

If you're asking about the top of the struts, this information is fact.

The oring in the rear top hat is because it "seals" the inside of cabin from outside, technically.
