Its a brand new IC so I imagine there isn't many people with one. I think Cortegeese has one if I remember correctly but I don't think its mounted as of yet. I will post pictures of mine when I get it...

EDIT: Thats who I seen with the ICer, its turboaap... NEver mind what I said about cortegeeese....

sorry forgot my camera. depending on what manifold you have looks like you will have about 1/2in of space. worst case you might have to hit the rail in some.geof pays close attention to those things though so i dont think you will have any problem.

Wish I could confirm this however I don't have the resources to do so.. Can anyone comfirm this? In reality one would be lead to believe it would be a good thing. Reason being is that you don't want air just rushing through an IC. The whole purpose of the IC is to coll the air and the faster it goes through the IC the less it will cool. Obviously, IC are rated this way and thats why they make different sizes.

when they "rate" an intercooler, are they rating them with 90* entrances/exits? I seriously have always wondered how manufacturers go about rating an intercooler.

this is very interesting, I also would like to know if this is true, but i don't think that full-race would make a product that won't work properly.

tony also makes a dual backdoor

when using a large dia charge pipe (3") on a small displacement engine, keeping the charge pipes SHORT is paramount. the tapered endtank design minimizes volume and directs the airflow. the only downside of a double backdoor setup is that you have to move the rad over a bit

I've been running a few double back door intercoolers for awhile now. I like my piping short.

ive always wanted to sit on the dyno and play with that stuff. just too lazy

pretty much all of the fast 200+mph domestic cars run what would be the same as a dual back door set up, theirs are just air/water.

I just got my Full-Race IC the other day. I still need to do some cutting on the rad support to move it closer to the engine. I will probably remove he whole thing and mount everything to the traction bar.

This is the Garrett 950hp core 24x12x9.5 so from the looks of it if you have an EG chassis then a Jojo, Exospeed or CFT front end will be needed. The radiator will need to be moved towards the drivers side a couple inches.

For me this will be a huge improvement over the my Precision 800hp IC.

how much does the downpipe overlap the radiator once you move the radiator over to the drivers side more?
