Icon2 ek front bumper support

ok so i have no front bumper support (the crash protection thing) and i just wondering if u need that to make the bumper fit the right way.... like align with the fender because i cant get my bumper to align correctly is that a reason why?



u see on the sides is horrible

cant see the pic. but is the bumper an oem or an aftermarket? i know a few people who has removed them and it fits great still. and some cut the reinforcement bar to fit their intercooler.

where does it not fit? to the fenders or to the hood?

that intercooler could be hitting the back of the bumper. you might have to notch the back of the bumper.

not the intercooler i think i know what the problem is the little bumper supports that is under the headlights my car dont have that so i will be hitting the junk yard after i finish painting my engine bay

Is your bumper OEM or OEM aftermarket? Sometimes the OEM aftermarket stuff has minor alignment issues.

if it still doesnt fit when you put the glides on die grind the holes where they bolt to the headlight to bring the bumper in.

yea but this is not minor.. shouldnt be a problem after i install that is missing

aftermarket honda bumpers are not the best fit. The accord aftermarket are worse than the civics. I do alot of front enders on them and you ussually have to bolt one side to the fender and get someone to push it back while you bolt the end other end on. Its like the bumpers aren't wide enough to fit ther car.
