What started out as a planned "simple" t28 GT2871 setup with 350whp in mind turned into a custom setup based on a GT30 with about 400-450whp in mind. The result of many conversations with Tony from T1 Race Development.... thanks Tony (I think
)!
Anyway, here's the car as it sat last year...

And how it sits now...

And here's some of the goods that came from T1...

Flange and some expensive *** clamps...

Walbro 255 and Omni 4 bar map sensor...

Tial 44mm gate with 10psi spring...

Bosch / T1 / Injector Dynamics 1000cc's (didn't end up using the adapters)

Here's a jig I made to make a collector...

Some tubing for the mani...

After some frustration and wasting some expensive tubing my friend Fathouse recommended using PVC to practice. $.50/ft vs. $16/ft.... Thanks house!
20 degree cut on the left, 15 degree on the right...

15 degree, what I ended up using...

2nd times a charm...

Ghetto backpurge...

This part was a pain!

Done!

Well after some frustration and serious doubt I finally got the first runner done. I think my collector is a little long but looks like I'm going to be able to make it work.

The rest of the runners should go smoothly but I suspect 'pain in the asses' part 1 and 2 will be wastegate placement and the downpipe build. Stay tuned...

I agree with u in the wastegate placement. Try not to have it 90 from the collector if possible. Looking great so far keep us updated

Good stuff!! I always wanted to see a 30R on an s2000, everybody jumps the gun and steps up to a 35r but im curious to see how a 30r will perform
Do you have the 2.0 or 2.2 in there?

Got the #2 runner fitted up tonight. Pulled the #3 runner off to weld it up. Added some braces since I couldn't really jig it with the Vband. Also got the elbow off of the collector for the #1 runner, going to put one on the collector for the #4 runner as well before I put the #3 back on. Going to build the remainder once I get the 2 centers done, it's hard enough just keeping those 2 lined up lol!

looks good man! cant wait to finish my S also!
and theres nothing like saying "i built all the stuff myself" when its finished and people ask who did the work....

Thanks guys!
Got a little farther yesterday, almost finished up welding up the two center runners until the threads in my torch head galled up and stripped out. Got to get a tap monday
Bolted to a 5/8" piece of aluminum for a heat sink...

Every once in a while I get a good one

Inlinepro 600hp i/c courtesy of my friend Carey (bosstedh22a). Yes I know it's upside down, fits higher that way and I'm not going to notch the frame rails for it!
