Default To make a long story short...

I'm pulling my blown dohc zc out of my 90 hatch si. I was looking for an a6 to swap in its place but I can't find any SO my question is, what all modification needs to be done to put a d15 (dpfi) in it. I don't want to but I need the car back on the road. I'm guessing I'll need the dx/lx ecu and i'm not sure what else. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks...

you will need an a6 intake manifold cause the dohc zc ones are different you i think can use the ecu you have or a pm6 (88-91 si) and you'll have to run the wires for your crank angle sensor to your dizzy plug and you'll need and si dizzy.

Problem is, is that I cant really find any SI parts around here, do you think I could use the complete d15 engine and mabye get the harness and ecu. Would that work?

You can bolt up the DOHC manifolds to a SOHC head.. you'd still make more power with doing that even though the ports are slightly off.

So bolt in the DPFI motor but use the ZC intake and exhaust manifolds...

Exactly! I thought about that after I had already made my last post. I have the adapter plate from zcspeed BUT the plate is made to adapt any d-series IM to a ZC engine, whereas I'm trying to put a zc IM on a d-series engine, will it still work???
