OK i have a Honda Accord EX 95' and my lights for my dash dont seem to want to work and i checked my fuse box but it keeps blowing the new fuse up and also my front lights dont work and what i mean by that is that my high beams stay on and dont want to turn off and to top it all off i dont have back light and the bulbs work just fine but they dont turn on at night but when i brake they do iv tryd looking at every thing but i cant seem to find the problem so if u can help please do.

 

There is a short somewhere, plain and simple. The dash lights and the taillights are on the same series. The actual brake lights are on their own, thats why your brake lights work and you taillights dont. If you are not comfortable with looking for the short yourself a shop will be more than happy to charge you 40-100$ an hour to look for a bad wire.

BTW: I have had this very same problem.

 

Check the vanity lights on the sunvisors. just unscrew the visors, pull them out, along with the connector. The wire may be touching ground here. ( this is a common problem with this model )

 

Mine was a pinched wire behind the taillight housing.

 

Yeah, This is a huge circuit! It goes bumper to bumper!
