Hello. Im new to this forum. If you want to save some money and know some soldering then you can go this $25 dollar way with your ECU. On Moates.net (http://www.moates.net/index.php?cPath=25_37) they have vtec convertion kits for ECU. You just buy the kit for $20 plus $5 for shipping and solder in the parts. They have to HOWTO on there site as well. I did this on my P06 ECU which is almost the same as the P05 ECU. I did the mini with a D16Y7 with D16Y8 head and it works perfectly. If you need help with the wiring I can find you some diagrams to hook up the wires to the ECU for the vtec solinoid and the vtec oil pressure sensor.

for vtec you just have to have a power source. they call it a toggle switch you can get one at any parts store for like less then 5 bucks. but it really doesnt work you need the vtec ecu it pumps more fuel when you hit vtec

Yeah.. it deff doesnt work.. i tried to manualy engage vtec when i just put it in and when i turned it on about 5krpm the vtec kicked in and engine became a little louder but actualy slower and when i turned it off it pulled faster.. then i just bought that vtec convertion for 25$ and soldered in parts and vtec worked fine.. almost any 92-95 honda ecus are made for chipping and upgrading.. they even left you a spot just to put vtec in and outlined where you would chip it. Hondas great..

white boxers are awesome, but i have my boy outside so much, to the beach, etc, that i'll probably always stick with fawn or brindle because the white ones are so fair and sunburn! they are cute though!
