Default "JDM" Spoiler, Legit??? 94-97

I have never seen this spoiler before and its said to be factory. I would like some info on this if anyone has seen or knows anything on them. It looks way "rice" for factory HONDA.

It says factory style. Not OEM.

I seen that aswell but I also says "genuine honda"

BTW: thanks for the input guys. Just something I had found and was pondering where it came from. Its "ricey" but neet nonetheless. I dont think it would look at all good on a 5g but maybe ok on a 6g.

Youll look like an alien ship going down the road with those green lights.

Oh no myfriend. I never intended on doing such a thing. I just came across it when I was looking for a few things and wanted to know more about it since it was claimed to be "genuine honda parts".

that was the first thing I noticed as well but then I noticed in big red letters they said it's genuine honda. and in the pictures it also looks to have some sort of honda tag. either way, it doesn't look good.

That part is a genuine Honda of Japan part, although it is not for the car he has it listed. It looks like it may be from an Inspire or Ascot.

It's another version of the Accord that only came out in Japan.

disregarding the alien green lights, the spoiler actually looks pretty decent. kinda sleek...kinda unique. i wonder what it would look like on a 5gen. maybe blue/white light instead of green. hrm?.....

I've also seen these before for other models.

Here are some pics of one from a '95-'98 Inspire (UA1).

The last one is from a recent WTB thread.

http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show...php?p=37318585

With a little searching I found a thread about the spoiler posted in the first post. The OP of this thread (linked below) is the seller of the spoiler in the eBay ad.

http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?p=1818156

Sources in that thread say it's the JDM Honda Accord SiR (CF4) Modulo spoiler.

Here's another link to one.

Hope this helps. Maybe someone else can give some more information.

I think that the spoiler above ^^^^ isnt as bad as the first one. Maybe its because I am more partial to black, lol, or that the lights are in a different location. Anyone have pics of said spoilers on cars? USDM,JDM,EDM?

If I had a car it belonged on I would buy it in a heartbeat. It's a very cool item. Judging by the other photos appearing to have amber lighting in them, are these supposed to be used as a sort of turn signal perhaps?

Found some pics of it on a car btw.

That doesnt look to bad man. Actually the back half and trunk section is kinda the same shape as our USDM 5gen. It might actually look good.
Thats a pretty good pic aswell, thnx NOFX.

And does anyone know what the hell those things on the top of the rear window are?

BTW: THAT SIR IS SIC!
