Hey all,

I'm just wondering whether or not a steering wheel from a 99 SI will plug right into my 00 DX hatch. Can someone please confirm this?

yes and so will my s2000 steering wheel hint hint

 

dc5 steering wheels bolt up to 96-00 civics also.

 

the splines on the Dc5 wheel are the same but the airbag is multi stage and will not work

 

anything 96+ is interchangeable with steering wheels.

ah i was just going to ask if 96-99 oem civic steering wheels would work. does anyone know if em2 wheels have multi-stage airbags? i read that the ep3 wheels do so i'm assuming the em2 wheels are as well.

not related... but does anyone have a rough idea of what it would cost to get a resonator welded into my exhaust... the previous owner has 2.5in piping and the noise is really starting to get to me...

 

does this also apply to 92-95 civics?? (sorry to thread jack...just thinkin bout puttin an ep3 steering wheel in my eg)

 

im not sure if the ep3 wheel will fit, but i know that the airbag will require some modification to work. as far as i know, the ep3 has a multi stage airbag whereas the eg/ek have single stage airbags...

 

nope none will fit the eg without major mods, only 94-01 Integra

 

yeah thanks to your question i figured that out. lol but i dont need the airbag...i could care less if it is even hooked up. but that would cause a problem with a light or somethin right?? its either another oem steering wheel like s2k or ep3 or im just gonna get an ebay special. lol

well damn...i guess now my only options are the jdm eg6 wheel or sir wheel or the ebay special. oh well...ebay special with mugen horn button FTMFW!!! lol
