most people on here are going to say that ebay is **** most of the time there right and i would agree SOMEtimes

in this case i would just spend the extra money on some blox rear lcas they are pretty cheap around 150 i think...

also quality stuff with some pretty good lookin design and colors..

Blox LCA's are only 110ish. I have heard bad things about the bushings in them..? I dont know, I bought a set, but installed a complete bushing set in all of my suspension components, so I really didnt care. I would say spend the extra money, else it will cost more in the long run.

Why do you want to change out LCAs? The stock ones work just fine.

The ebay/blox/omni/etc ones have the shittiest bushings known to man in them. The bushings suck ***. If you don't clock them, they will last <1 month. If you do clock them, they will last around 6-12 months. Weak.

Stock bushings are 10,000,000,000X nicer. Just remember to clock these as well.

I'm using OMNI ones on my EM1 because my LCA to shock bolts would not come apart from the bushing. The stock arms were expensive. Replacing bushings is messy/expensive/sucks. I would also have to wait for shipping. I bought Omni arms for $75. Honestly, if someone had some good used arms for around that price or somethign...I'd opt for the good used ones over new Omni ones.

^^^THIS. I'm normally as much of a cheap parts ***** as the next guy, but LCAs are just too critical of a component for me to risk cheap, especially when there's almost never a reason not to use OEM other than bling.

I've actually BENT a stock LCA before whilst sliding into a curb on ice at about 5 mph. I would hate to see what would have happened if I had been rolling on some junk cast aluminum one... It would have just sheared off, and I wouldn't have been driving it home.

OEM + Poly bushings

If you don't have a sway bar then use 94-01 Integra. They are the same. Bushings can be had at www.suspension.com

With a few bucks (to buy poly), a torch, and a hack saw - you can get the best of both worlds. Poly bushings can be a tad hard to get in w/o a vise, but even a doctor would spend more time at his job to pay for entire arms than time spent torching out the old.

Or... you can wait a bit, scour craigslist and/or the marketplace and get decent arms for cheap. I've bought 2 OEM sets with mint bushings for ~$30/shipped for each set, and a 3rd pair via a disc brake swap locally for $100. If you've removed the bolts at one point, they'll be easy to remove again w/in 3 months if you covered them in axle/bearing grease.

FACT - the ONLY differences between '88-'95 Civic & '90-'00 Teg (non-ITR) LCA's: All tegs have a larger shock bushing (order poly for teg arms), and 90-93 tegs locate their shock bolt holes slightly farther out (softens suspension very slightly). ALL are the exact same length.

don't buy ebay.. seriously.. never had a good experience.. unless it states "new oem" or a specific part...

anything you buy that says "like oem" or "style" is junk. I bought a fender well and thought it can't be that much worse than the oem since its just cheap plastic. The part was pretty much paper spray painted black.

"like new" bezel was covered in scratches and dents

96 cup holder missing lid, even though it was in the picture.. 99 type r style grill was cheap, but I could live with it...

I can go on and on... but in the end I always bought oem to replace the ebay junk.. the cost is worth it

I think that most of the Al arms are forged, actually. I also think they're stronger/stiffer than stock (96-00). But either way, I'd rather bend/break an LCA than bend the subframe or tear it. The LCA is cheap...like a fuse.

i have ugr's on my car.. and the main reason i would get the suspension "bling" would be if my bolts to my shocks were siezed and didnt want to mess with that....

but the bling is allways nice

ok this is whats up the set of trailing arms that i have also have the lca from a 01 teg but the bushings are bad arms are still good? so i should just buy bushings then and use oem teg LCA's. ok answered that question.
also .i got a 4040 porp valve today for 6 bucks heh. and i was looking for a 15/16 break booster and Master Cyclinder to go with it but what year, make, model car can i get this from?
i thought it was from 91-93 civic ex 4 door but the ones i saw today had 13/16 i did see a accord. not sure what year but that had 15/16 but i wasnt sure if it would bolt up

Thanks again for everything guys! (and Gals)

Function 7 or OEM

Anything else, you might as well burn your money and ask someone to kick you in the nuts, that way it will be quicker and a little less painful.

Pretty much everybody makes coilovers for the ITR that makes coilovers for GSRs...

the real jdm itr rear shocks were dif from gsr, instead of the fork that comes down over top the control arm, its just 1 nub that fits into the control arm.

If the stuff is going on a '92 - '95 civic, stock '94 - '01 Integra LCAs with new OEM bushings are where its at. I've heard nothing but complaints about Blox LCAs, specifically in regards to the bushings, and if Blox > Ebay, i'd be scared to see the Ebay stuff. OEM bushings last a long, long time btw, well worth the money, I consider anything else a waste of time and money.
