B20 all motor build questions new to b20 set-up (crx)
im new to the whole idea of B20 vtec and all motor and the B20 block and its tolarences. i plan to hopefully bore the block and vtec swap it but i want to keep the torque that the b20 offers and i need to know what all is needed for a b series swap into a crx i have done them (well helped) on a few swaps but never been the brain of the swap cuz it wasnt my car lol i can do all the work myself because im a mechanic but i need some honda-tech guru help on the details help would greatly be appreciated thanks guys
There are lots of articles out there pertaining to this swap.
LSVtec/CRVtec Guide
As far as what you will need, search for B-swapped EF articles. An LSV/CRV doesn't use any different hardware than a regular B-series swap.

so what do you guys think of this swap? I've been reading all over the place and have been gettin some mixed feelings about from some post. I think its a great Idea! How well does it stack up say against the B18B1 LS/Vtec?
b20vtec is a nice swap if your lookin for just drag speed but IMO you can only go all motor cuz all b20vtec's ive seen boosted only last around 60k miles on good setups
yea thats what i've been reading, its becuase they are bored out to a 84mm and that weakens the cylinder wall (correct me if I'm wrong) but what about a good rebuild on the bottom half? I have read some people building the bottom half to be pretty strong to withstand the boost...and besides i'm only looking to get around 5psi to be honest...or do you think its better to go with the B18B1 since its a smaller bore size....
