Like title says I have a complete GSR block that has very bad damage to the bare block and I was wondering is every part capable of swapping it over to an LS B18A block? I know those little oil squiters in the piston aren't swappable but everything else to make the Ls complete to a point will it will work and drive fine? Let me know I couldn't find any good information about this.

If I do this swap over should I run a LS head built or should I run LS Vtec?

 

u wont be able to use gsr crank and the rod's all other part's should be fine

yeah everything swap's over but i would reconmend u to use the LS rod's and the Ls crank on the LS block instead of the gsr rod's and crank

 

Isn't it because it will give me more power or something like that? How do I get the wrist pin to come out so I can swap the rod over to the GSR piston? I tried it but couldn't get it.

 

I believe you can use a GSR crank in the LS block.

But you have to get custom rods and pistons.

 

Doesn't the GSR's have something like valve clearance if I use it on the LS block right?
