uhhh... if you're looking at doing a B8 A4 conversion, you're gonna need a whole lot more than a headlight.
They're self leveling and adaptive (they turn side to side). I've got em in my A3 as well.
There's a sensor box that connects to the front strut, and another that connects to the rear control arm to level the light up and down, and there's gotta be something somewhere in the steering that recognizes your steering angle, and a brain box somewhere that conveys the steering input to the headlight.
Adaptive headlights for the A3 are somewhere on the order of $1600 each with the ballasts and adaptive motors (and no LEDs), that doesnt include the hardware to make the leveling system or the adaptive system work.... I would expect the A4 ones to be more. The car has been on the market since October... I dont forsee too many totaled B8s to pilfer parts from yet.
I'd suggest doing a retro with a fixed beam HID from an E46 or S2000 or whatever the popular retro kit is these days.
If you want to just add LEDs, then go back to fourtitude where you found that picture, search for LED... plenty of people have done all sorts of LED mods (in the headlights, the S6 LED strips in the fog grills, etc... with the superbright white leds.
I envision this becoming the next angel eye phenomenon.

When doing a retrofit, the sky's the limit. use any hid projector that fits (or that you can make fit) and any led you want that will reach your goals. expect to pay upwards of 500 (more if more customization is done) or plan on spending atleast the better part of the weekend making your own. if you search in the lighting section, ive posted a few pics of my retrofit, where i used BMW Hella projectors swapped into some ebay housings
