Hello, I got a turbo'd 93 civc cx with a 95 gsr motor. I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their main relay flickering?? I'll start the car in the morning and its fine for a while but when the car has been on for a while or its a warm day it'll start acting up. I changed the underdash harness so it could'nt be the harness. I changed the main relay several times and it does the same thing. Changed the dizzy as well. Just last night i was trying to start it and my fuel pump was'nt going on and you could hear the main relay vibrating and the check engine light was on. I'm stumped on this one. Any help will be appreciated...Thanx

 

check your engine harness grounds

 

Grounds seem to be intact.

 

Ecu main capacitor?

 

obvously check all fuses.
thermostat ground
ecu power/ground

try switching ecu's?? any/what codes?

 

Post up if you fixed it..... My mom's car is doing the same thing

 

The thermostat ground was loose so i tightend it. It was good for a few days and then the main relay started clicking again. So i was looking at all the wiring to the ecu and moved around some wires to see if everything looked good which it did. Put the ecu back and it has'nt been clicking ever since. Its been about a week since i did that and so far so good. But i'm still stumped on what causes it.
