Default Shop Question, for ya'll tech guys

Will a 99-00 Civic SI ECU plug and play into a 96 integra ls/vtec? They're both OBD-II. Also the 1st gen valve covers on the JDM B16a's PCV(positive crankcase venilation) Are those suitable for ls/vtec, cause a mechanic wanted me to buy a whole brand new valve cover cause he said the olds ones dont do the job right. is that correct?

No you cant use the si ecu. Plugs are different. And your mechanic is smokin too much chronic. 1st gen valvecover is fine.
