Any issue with using the car's body to dissipate heat?
I was thinking about affixing what are basically computer heat sinks intended for water cooling onto the car's body parts. Essentially what I'd be doing is using the fenders and hood which are metal to help the engine disspiate heat. The reason why I ask this question is because not only would it not increase drag car being beneficial but also I'm wondering how it'd have an effect on the paint. Are 150-210F temperatures too much for the car paint to handle? I know it can get really really hot on some days but what about heating the paint from underneath?
What do you guys think of this idea?

150 degrees, no problem. but ive never even thought of evaluating this. great question though. in all honesty with fulll cured paint you should be fine, but id be willing to bet that eventually you would get some fading or discoloration directly where the heat sink is. especially if its reaching over 200 on top, and on bottom. but then again, ive never had any problems with valve covers and other parts that ive sprayed that are in the engine bay that exceed well over 200 plus degrees so you may be totally fine.
The only thing is that it may cause the metal to warp. I don't know if it would get hot enough, but I've seen someone welding quarters and they did the whole thing at once instead of doing an inch at a time. And he had huge waves throughout the rear quarters. I know that's a big heat difference but it would be a constant heat. Just somtbing to think about.
