ive read some threads about people trying to do this but i wondered if anything worked out. searched and couldnt find what i needed.

 

easiest/simplest/cleanest way would be the edm/jdm rear seats

 

^LOL. I think the OP meant to do a retrofit with some other seats and save from paying an arm & a leg for the EDM/JDM rear seats. I'm too in the process of doing just that.

93 is talking about the JDM cr-x rear seats. Instead of trying to get a ef sedan or hatch seat to work, just get the crx rear seat

 

I found some 90-91 rear ef seats. They are also red pinstripe and match my crx seats perfectly. That's why I'm wondering

 

(shoot)if the OP wanted crx rear seats .he would get them.....he wants to know how to fit a ef rear seat in. how hard is that to you people haha. maybe he wants to do something different.

 

well for the cost/time invested of getting attempting to get rear hatch seats to fit a rex it would be much easier, simpler, cleaner to get the edm or jdm seats, i dont know in your area but in mine you can get everything you need to bolt them in including belts for 3 bills.....

 

anythin will work but the ammount of work might not be worth it ive done a lil research and its definatly possible but takes alot of custom fab and knowin wat ur doin with a welder unless you dont want your rear side panelin xD
