I know "Innovative" makes a good motor mount but does anyone know where you can purchase some motor mounts that aren't "stock looking". Right now I'm all about saving some clams and finishing up my D Series swap. Thanks for any and all help.

Ummm Yeah. I now the price was $180.00 shipped and I'm sure some people myself included think that it's reasonable,thanks for the input. But I was wondering if anyone new where they might be purchased.."cheaper".

 

what i was trying to say was i doubt your gonna get a set cheaper then that brand new...

 

cheap mounts is just more money spent on axles.... man up and open your wallet.

 

Your either going to get it cheaper if you find a set used,but this 1 is new so its a good deal :thumbup

yeah, not sure if it was page 7 or 8 but someone in this forum has a set of them for sale. 125 shipped i think the price was. also check the market place. you can get pretty good deals in there at times.

 

Cheap motor mounts are kind of like cheap condoms, why use them, they going to break anyways.

 

same here..might pick up a set for my ef.

 

Check classifieds in different forums, craigslist, etc. But you won't be able to find quality mounts for much cheaper than $180. Sometimes it's worth spending the extra $$$ for a quality set of mounts. Good luck!

Mounts are either steel or "billet"

Steel = cheaper, Billet = a little bit more

 

thats a good price for those particular mounts, you can always skimp out and buy cheaper ebay brands for about $100 but they probably wont fit and you will have to end hacking them up and/or buying a legit set anyways. try looking for a used set first and if that doesnt work just suck it up and get them new. note as well those innovative mounts fit like a glove!
