So my teg has a f'd up core support and did not know when I bought it. I want to put a new one in but apparently have to cut the old one out and get the new one welded in. I have a friend of a friend that would do everything for 200. Is that good or am I getting swindled? Anybody know any local shops that do good work in SoCal?

I thought about posting in the welding/fab section but that seemed more for people who do their own welds and show their work.

Edit: BTW it's on a 94 Teg LS, if it matters
