Hey Fellas, this my first swap....and im stuck now (going from obd1 to obd2)....Bought some injectors from a member here but they are broken Pic below....

Questions is, do they still work even though they are cracked like that? when i bought then i stated i wanted 100% working injectors...now idk if even though they are cracked like that...they still work...does that effect how it sprays fuel or something? Do i have alot ot risk if i try them?




Other question....i believe i have it right...not sure...i color matched each injector clip to the injector i think it goes to. can someone comfirm me that is correct? im holding the harness the opposite side of how it should sit on the injectors. Pic below.



yellow and blue are the short wired inner clips....Red is the ending point of harness....and then theres the green.....



and here is a pic of my project.....bought it as a shell missing everything Interior + exterior......and slowly as money comes in...putting my baby together...

I dont think you should really want to run those injectors. They could lead to failure leaving you strainded on the road.

 

ok, anyone else?? if injectors for sure wont work like that so i can msg the guy the sold them to me.

can anyone else chime in on the injector? has anyone ran injectors with that tip cracked?

 

Stock injectors cost all of 20$ used for a set.. why are you even asking this question go out and buy another one and call it a day.

 

1, cuz i bought these injectors off a member....i wanted working injectors...so i can try get something back....2, i dont know where around here to get obd2 injectors for 20 bucks....anyone knows let me know....and 3...not everyone is made of money....

 

well 1st get obd1 injectors and just spend 5mins of your time to solder on obd1 clips. and its 20$ ? recession really hit the states hard i guess eh.

Pay for shipping and ill give you a set of 4 obd1 injectors with clips.

 

Your asking for problems putting in injectors like that buddy. I wouldnt do it after putting in such a nice swap as yours. You will just be asking for problems.
