hey i just recently did a swap in my civic
with a obd1 b16

coolants good

if i stand still in a redlight or something, car strts to heat up. the temp guage goes up.

once i start moving, the temp goes to norml.

can it be the thermostat?

have you checked to see if your fan is turning on, open up the hood when it does it and see if the fan is turning on. That would be my first guess based on the fact it is doing it while it is sitting still.

fan does turn on yes!...so im a bit worried

 

is there any air in the system, have you tried bleeding it, that would be my next guess, i mean you could try replacing the thermo, but i like to get every free possibility out of the way before i buy something
