i had a sohc with 128.5 whp and 124 ft lbs that ran 14.6 at the track, the setup was a zc block with p29 pistons and a z6 head, Stock camshaft. Transmission was a zc with an 8 pound flywheel and stage 1 act clutch. The car is a 90 crx hf.

sorry to revive an old thread but i have some questions about my setup if anyone can help......Ok, i have a D16a6 motor with p29 oversized pistons (.5 mm) ....anyways i have a stock head n i was wondering what kind of head i should go with and what gasket as well in order 2 complete my "mini me" swap....i was thinking of going with a y8 head but idk if the CR ratio will be too high and idk if i would run too lean on my fuel.....anybody have any suggestions? im not planning on boosting.....yet....also i will be getting a vtec controller along with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator in order to help the fuel problem (running too lean or rich)...last, should i stick with my stock d series Si tranny? which other ones will fit? if i put a dx tranny (longer gear ratios) will it fall out of VTEC? thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
