ok so i have a a6 engine in my crx. most of the time its hard to start. it will try to fire up but after a few tries it finally will. anothe problem is its bogging. as im driving the a6 it will start to bogg down really bad, i have to revv it up quite a bit for the bogging to stop. usually i have to keep the engine up at a high rpm base for it to stop bogging. does anyone know why its doing this? maybe its a clogged fuel filter or its just getting too much fuel?

 

What do your plugs look like?

 

might be head gasket thats how my crx was when i first got it just cruising at low rpms it would stutter and not want to run very well i had to keep it up in the rpms. is there a smell or anything when you run it hard? like a sweet smell....

 

well it doesnt really have a smell to it. it just boggs is all i know. i was thinking about replacing the spark plugs because a friend of mine said his boosted eclipse boggd down alot due to his dirty spark plugs.

if it is a dirty fuel filter how would i be able to change it out? sorry newbie question but ive never had to change one out
