Default Help me!!

my mpfi swap is complete, but it wont start. when we spray ether it will starty. the car is getting fuel and the injectors are pulsing. what shoud i do????

Check for spark.
Double,triple,... check wiring.
Check wiring again.
.. and again.
Then make sure your wiring is correct.

CHECK ALL grounds, and make sure to add a few more as well! make sure the ecu is being grounded properly.. Sounds like spark is not adequate.

Well remember this... your spark and timing are probably fine, the only reason that your car would start with ether and not start without it is because it is NOT getting fuel. Get a noid light or do it the caveman way with a multi-meter and check to see if the injectors are actually getting voltage and firing.

Also if you use too much ether tends to foul plugs if too much is used. This could also lead to a no start problem.

If the car starts then you have spark.

If the car starts and runs normal the timing is around correct.

If the car turns over slow and the battery is good then the timing is too advanced.
