Squeaky crank pulley?
Is search broken again?!
Anyway, my crank pulley has been squeaky lately. I took off the AC belt completely. It's not the belts, unfortunately. Belt lube doesn't help and they are tight.
I have to spray some WD-40 between the crank pulley and the block to get it to shut up for a week or so. I dont think it's the main bearings going out because I have been driving it like this for about 5K miles now. The squeak goes away at over 1000RPM. All I can think of is something rubbing against the timing cover.
Any ideas? http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal
