How do i take off the whole hatch......yah the whole trink....????

trying to find a integra at a junk yard with rear hatch and no spoiler

figure just swap the hatches so i can still have that 3rd brake light.

 

Let me know if you find any wingless milano red hatches.

 

There are bolts top of the hatch. Unbolt them and there you go! There also might be some wiring you need to unplug from the third brake light.

 

how do i get access to the tree bolts?

what about the gas shocks that push the hatch up? how do these remove?

You get a wrench and unscrew them from the hatch itself. Very easy i have done it before

 

You have to take the headliner out first, which requires you to take out the rear-view, the visors, and both lights, then there's the big plastic screw in the center-back area, turn in it 90°, and pull it out.

After that, there's 4 12mm bolts, 2 on each hinge. Then you might have to pound it a bit from the bottom, there's this wierd glue **** that they use. The wire harness is a bit of a bitch too, but work with it and you'll get it out. It's for the rear brake light, the wiper, and the defroster.
