so my sunroof has been leaking. i've ducktaped it shut and its hideous. lol. i was thinking maybe the draintube is clogged or leaking or something? can someone tell me where the drain tube starts and ends and all that? thanks a lot

 

you have to take of the head liner and wala theres a total of four drain tubes!!!

 

i havent really looked at how to remove the headliner, but it sounds complicated. lol

 

Not too hard to do. It can be done and back in place in an hour.

 

is the headliner like bolted or screwed on to the roof?

 

if taking the headliner off really sounds that complicated just sell your ef to someone else.

 

i dont belive so.. just take the o **** handles off and the trim that meets the edge of the door .
But before you do that i would take your trunk interior side pieces off and check the tubes their because on my Da they were disconected and it leaked into my trunk bad.
even back seat and carpet suffered.

 

yeah, after it stopped raining, i realized my trunk and everything in the back was soaked.

The tubes just connect on each side.
if they are unconnected then they just drain into the trunk.

 

Where's your sunroof? Right under that sheet metal. You just have to get a saws-all to get to it!

so basically the tubes run from the sunroof, to the sides of the car towards the trunk, and dumps out at the bottom of the car? or something like that?

tubes run from the sunroof down each c pillar down the quarter pannel witch is where the connections are. then dump out inside the rear bumper on each side.
Good luck. and headliners arent that bad. just make sure you have all the screws out and the side pannels off then it will come down.
