Ok,
This is really my first big post here on HT. But i think everyone enjoy's seeing redone crx's.
Firstly this IS NOT a money,sponsored car, this car was built by my hands,my money,my time.The build has been pretty slow going considering i am married,have a daughter,and have bills to pay but one good thing is my house is payed for.This car may not be for everybody but its what i want and what i enjoy.
Here is a small time-line as i wont go into great detail, I have owned he car for going on 8 years now.It started life as an 89 Hf and when i bought it it had 83,000 original miles on the clock and wasn't so bad to start out with.The car went through minor changes the first year or so such as intake,exhaust,short shifter,nothing drastic. then i parked the car for a while and swore i would never drive it again till it was the way i wanted it. Fast forward a couple years and the car has been through couple swaps (stock CRX SI motor) then to a DOHC Zc,the to a boosted ZC, which brings it to its current condition.Working on a semi built LS/Vtec pushing for 200 WHP,but we will see what happens.
Somewhat of a mod list
Full ES bushings
KYB AGX shocks (all 4 corners)
Tein S-tech springs (for now thinking of going with GC's)
Full ALARM system
Keyless handles
Power windows (spal)
Power door locks
SIR front
Rota C10 wheels
LS/Vtec
HYtech replica
GSR trans
AZ mounts
Wire tucked bay (not total like chase or some other's but clean)
EDM rear spoiler
SIR tails
EDM center with fog
New mouldings,windshield ect.
JK motorsports traction bar
New suspension kit (upper arms,lower ball joints,inner/outer tie rods
Oddessey pc680 battery (reloacated)
AEM fuel rail
312cc Injectors
S2S2 cam's
JUN valvetrain
SIR side markers
I know i am forgetting some things but ill update as i remember

Decided i was going back to stock body how it should be!!

EDM spoiler with SIR tails also converted to 90-91 rear bumper

Then once i got moved i cam across something i could not pass up.I finally got my CRX SIR front end!! Which i was using at the time 90-91 front end with a VIS SIR CF hood..
Kind of fitting the front end

Doing some different valve cover options besides the plain redone GSR wrinkle VC i have


I think i am going to rock the pink one for a while...

Painted Chasis (went back to original B-47M) Superior Blue just because noone represents it anymore!!!


Now onto the fully assembled rear of the car..



And my Daughter REPRESENTING!!!!

This car has NOT and will Not be wetsanded and buffed as i dont want the show car shine as it isnt a show car. This car was built to drive and have fun with and i wanted that OEM showroom floor look..
I have left out a bunch of PICS of the process but this was just to get this started and i will keep you guys updated as i go and fill everything in when i update,and get the car further along in the reassembly process.
I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoy sharing it with you..

Yea the shaved cover is painted with some DUPONT Firestorm or something i had lying around. Its a color change paint and the pink cover is done with candy left over from one of my stepdads projects..the pink looks SUPER HOT up against the superior blue..

thanks again for the compliments guys!! i am waiting for some more pieces to show up in the mail.. I will try and get done what i can get done and try to keep the updates going at a decent pace..
really really really nice build, i like that you stayed with the original color smooth move..consider me subscribe to this thread and please post pics of the finish product, i cant wait! Chris

Well guys got some more stuff ordered waiting for it to show up and made some small progress on the car. I am waiting for the stuff to show up and ill do a nice updateon whats been done so far and show you guys my nice shiny parts!!
