Ok, so I have been calling shops around southern california for the last 2 months and no one seems to be able to get a hold of one. They all tell me that they're on back order and won't be in until late March early April, so I'm hoping someone here might have one that they never got around to using. This seems like my best shot in order to get this rack and pinion swap done.

If anyone has this kit please let me know. Thanks.

already spoke with them. their on the same boat with JHP and Quaife America... I was hoping to get this within a week or two. thanks for the help though.

i was there today and i picked up the dx rack that i will rebuild, but the chances of finding a quaife rack there are really slim.

good luck on the find. i rebuilt a rack for a 92 civic with the Quaife. the guy said he had to wait about 2 months.

 

yeah. that's all i've been hearing from these shops... I was really hoping to finish this swap by mid march.

late night bump... someone has to have one that they're not using...

 

check out quaife UK... with the exchange rate where it is, the rack works out to be in the $160 range

 

i've contacted them before and after taxes and fees it's more like $200 add shipping to the list, it wasn't worth it. on top of that, there kit doesn't come with the bearing.

they are on back order as well.

i was hoping i could find one hear from a member...
