RHD type-r.. need PS pump.. is B-series interchangable?
RHD jdm type-r... power steering pump went out... went to junk yard twice... got one off a gsr, then an si... still doesnt fit! it bolts up but the power steering line that carries the fluid doesn't line up with the pump... the 2 bolt holes for the PS line to the PS pump are off quite a bit.. any suggestions? hard to find a type-r PS pump at a junk yard...
I have PS pump w/ brackets off a 96-97 JDM Type-R swap. PM or e-mail me if your interested. I can take some pics for you... (sberke2@***.net)

I have a honda of japan parts catalog program and work of american honda. if you could send me the japanese vin in a message I could look the origanal part number up in my catalog and then cross it over to the us cars.
not looking to buy one just yet unless i need to because i already purchased from the junk yard with a no refund policy... only a trade if it doesnt fit...
i havent tried del sol yet... hard to find sol parts around here... ill give it a shot as a last resort if i can get my hands on one at this junkyard...

What's the diameter of the nozzle that goes into the pump?
There are two types (based upon the year of manufacture, associated with OBD-1 or OBD-2), and each type has a different bolt pattern and nozzle diameter. Since it's a JDM motor, I don't know which one they packaged with it.

ti doesn't have the dc2- vin plate on the core support? that sucks. I was going to cross reference it so you would know exactly what would work.
If the P/S line are from the JDM ITR then they will not fit. You will either have to get the US p/s lines or get the JDM P/S pump. I also have a pump i would sell. Just let me know.
I figured all of this out when I help a friend swap a 96 Spec ITR Engine into his integra. P/S Lines from the Integra which are the US lines were to big for the P/S Pump. So simple fix for us is we used his old P/S pump.
For you its the opposite
