Hey guys, my Honda acting up again! Yesterday morning I was driving to work, drove for bout 10-15min then all of the sudden when I was about to accelerate it wouldnt go anywhere. It felt like I ran out of gas (I didnt) Tried to start it back up, engine would turn over but wont fire up. Everything works, but wont crack. After bout 20-30min sitting it started back up and then after 15min same thing happend. I thought I had water in my tank and it froze in my gas lines (I live in Ohio) so I dumped some water evaporating additive from AZ in the tank. After a while it started back up. Guy at AZ told me it might be my ECU or ECM acting up, cuz it seems that something has to cooldown before it can run again. I drove home (30min) fine, this morning same thing happens!!!!!!
Im not a big fan of AZ "mechanics" so Im asking everyone here, where I always find help and help others. Need help asap, its my only vehicle.

BTW its a 95 Accord LX 5spd and I do have a 1/2 tank of gas in it<---(for those who know what for)

 

You might want to monitor this thread. The problems sound very similar for same generation.

 

try to keep full tank whenever you go home from work and try to start next morning,my friend car same like that too,that not the ECU may be just the filter fuel pump get stuck when reach 1/2 tank.

 

You may want to check the ignition switch.
Not sure if it's your problem but I had similar non starting issues on my 94.
