Icon6 1994 Ex front brake drivers side

1994 ex sedan
The brake pads for the front drivers side wears out WAY faster then the rest of them. it only last like 3 months (i don't so alot of hard breaking) when I change the pads I notice that the passengers side still has alot of life left, but the drivers side is metal. I had suspected that the caliper was the problem, so I change booth of them, but it's still the same thing. I think the drivers side front brake is not releasing all the way. does anyone possibly know why?
The car does have Abs, but it doesn't work.
thanks.

replace both rubber front brake hoses and take the pins the caliper mounts to that go in the rubber boots out. Spray the pins and the holes all out with brake clean til it comes out clean. If theres any rust on the pins sand it down til its smooth to the touch, if the pins are badly rusted replace them. Coat the pins with high temperature brake caliper lube, availible in small packets for one brake job or in a large can with a brush on the cap, evenly coat all the pins change all the rubber hoses and that should fix it right there. Reason I say this is if the caliper wont slide properly it wont realease, also the rubber hoses can break down internally making the pressure stay on one caliper, basically making it like your driving with the brakes on. So do all that and that should fix it since the calipers are new, thats really all thats left unless it were a bad master cylinder or ABS modulator\proportioning block, but thats really rare, normally its a line or a caliper slide. good luck.

I just had an issue with my front brakes. Drivers side was worse - all the sudden had worn down.

It was the caliper. I had new calipers put on the front.
